Marking Gilroy's directorial debut , it tells the story of a driven young man who stumbles upon the underground world of Los Angeles freelance crime journalism.

Full Synopsis of Nightcrawler Movie

So far we only know the crime news after the event, which aired on television. However, we never know how the criminal events that occur and what kind of journalists to cover the story. These sections become the main theme in the recent movie Jake Gyllenhal in 2014. This film, which is titled "Nightcrawler" tells the story of a freelance journalist in the hunt for news in Los Angeles.

Louis Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) initially had trouble finding a decent job. One time, he witnessed a car accident that was covered by many television journalists. He also tried to apply for a job as a television journalist. However, because of rejection, Bloom was trying to become a freelance journalist. Thanks to some good news that it generates, Bloom was employed as a freelance journalist by KWLA News led by Nina (Rene Russo).

Bloom is getting excited undergoing work. He was trying to do all the way to get the best criminal news, such as stalking and record the scenes of crimes committed a criminal without intending to prevent or assist victims. However, a mistake he did, when he was desperate to do the incorrect way to dramatize the crime scene and make its own exclusive news.

With the help of an assistant, Rick (Riz Ahmed), Bloom is able to precede the police and record the shoot-out that occurs in a home invasion. Like a psychopath, he recorded the victims were bathed in blood without trying to help. For the recording, Bloom demanding more financial reward from Nina who was forced to give, to get exclusive news and win over their competitors.

However, police became suspicious with all the news records obtained Bloom while on duty. They were also asked to examine the records. What finally happened to Bloom? Whether the police can prove that the event is just the engineering of journalism? Then, how about the next Bloom career? This Chrime-thriller movie really will make us get a different spectacle from the usual films.

The "Nightcrawler" Movie is already running for the first time at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) September 2014 last month. The release of the movie which became debut of Dan Gilroy as a director has also been done on October 31, 2014 a few days ago. However, in some countries, the "Nightcrawler" movie newly screened in all theaters from early November 2014.
