Director of the film "Saw VI" (2009) and "Saw 3D" (2010), Kevin Greutert again presents his latest work in 2014. Not much different from the most successful his horror movie in Hollywood, this newest film also horror thriller movie. Not only Greutert, Jason Blum who produced the successful horror movies, such as Insidious, Paranormal Activity, and Oculus, also joined in this film titled Jessabelle, as well as a producer. This film tells the story of a young woman named Jessabelle (Sarah Snook), who was called Jessie. She had just experienced a terrible accident that caused her to lose both his legs and took her fiance's lives. After returning from the hospital, Jessie grieving and deeply shaken to go home to her parents in Louisiana to recuperate. However, other terrible things happening there.
Jessie found the gift of his real mother who had died long ago. The Gift is a video recording of tarot card readings by his mother made for her, before her mother died while giving birth. He was finally know the mystery surrounding his birth. However, at the same time, there are also evil spirits who wanted to kill her.
Since then, Jessie can not live peacefully in his childhood home. She gets various horrible terror to kill him. Jessie always felt there are evil spirits who followed her while in the house. In fact, while in the bathtub too, she could feel his presence. The evil spirit keeper of the house as already looking forward to her return, and will not allow her to go again.
Apparently, the evil spirit has a long history with the deceased mother. Gradually, the secrets of Jessie's past began to unfold and knowing. What has happened to her in the past?
