Besides famous for valor and miracle, the Pyramid building in Egypt were also covered with various mysteries. From the story of treasure, secret rooms, until the curse of the former Egyptian king buried there, make the pyramid has always been attentive.. This also may inspire filmmakers from France, Gregory Levasseur, to be interested in producing a new movie called The Pyramid.
As a director, along with Alexandre Aja as a producer, which is already widely known through a number of successful horror films like "The Hills Have Eyes" (2006), "Piranha 3D" (2010), and "Maniac" (2012), also working on the film "The Pyramid" by making horror genre that have partially found footage (fake documentary). Stories in this latest film begins with the process of making a pyramid and burial ceremony of a king of Egypt in it.
Then the story skip ahead to 2104, when a group of archaeologists from the US are doing research on variety of new pyramids that discovered in Egypt. They discovered an ancient pyramid buried in the desert. Uniquely, the pyramid has only three sides, instead of the four sides of another pyramid . When successfully opened and found the door of the pyramid, then they decided to explore it.
The archaeologists had panicked because suddenly came toxic smoke out from the pyramid. But a team of archaeologists insist to enter. However, decision must be paid handsomely, because they actually got lost and trapped inside the pyramid. When trying to find a way out while checking the inside of the pyramid, they begin to realize that they are not alone in there. Apparently they also become prey of the terrible creatures.
Various things that happen in the pyramid were changed for the worse, since the archaeological team stuck in the dark and endless catacombs. Over time, because of cannot found the exit, they began to feel desperate. What is actually happening in the pyramid? Did a team of archaeologists save themselves from the pursuit of monstrous creatures, and then find an exit?
The film that starring by Ashley Hinshaw as Nora, Denis O'Hare (Holden), James Buckley (Fitzie), Daniel Amerman (Luke) and Amir K (Michael Zahir) is really going to bring the audience to come in and share that horror in the pyramid.
